The other consideration is cultural.  Airbus is the team of Germany France Spain and to an extent the UK joining forces.  Boring is 100% US.  Vendors aside, the intellectual firepower of 4 countries is pretty cool.  European standards will always smoke US.  Just look at American food quality v Europe ie our FDA allows us to ingest Titanium Dioxide and more garbage v pretty much the developed world.  Europe just works differently than the US.  Our capitalist society with our pro profit healthcare and consumerism culture will always prioritize profit in a way that traditionally does not happen here sadly.  [/quote]
