I don’t think Will or Kate would be any different if Diana had lived.  Will is pretty much exactly what he was destined to be and Kate I was the only sensible choice for him.  Who knows about Harry but as second son he was probably always destined for some level of conflict and disappointment.  I feel  like Diana would be in for the drama though.  She definitely had an element of sh-t stirrer about her.  This is not from the TV show — this is from my following her in the press at the time.  She had such a love hate relationship with the public attention.  The one thing that would be different is that Camilla definitely would not be queen.  [/quote]

I don’t.  Diana married the top aristo and was miserable. After she divorced, she fell in love with Hasnat Khan, who was a doctor, not an aristo.

By all accounts, her childhood left her craving a stable family.  I think she would have seen Kate and her family as a good thing for William and would have approved of the match.  I think she and Meghan would have clashed.  Diana would not have liked someone like Meghan to attempt to outshine her.  Then again, had Diana survived, I don’t think Harry ever would have met or married Meghan.[/quote]
