Kody did reject him and Gabe.  They, Gabe and Garrison, discussed it and their feelings on the show.  Janelle was very concerned about them and said it publicly.  [/quote]
But Gabe and Garrison also rejected him back! He said he missed them so he reached out but they blocked him! Kody is not a super reliable narrator most of the time but it's possible there were enough hurt feelings on both sides that the boys dug their heels in. I would've too at that age.
