TSM has not yet been awarded a government grant for the Arizona build out. So either Arizona is currently subsidizing, or TSM is footing the buildout. TSM put in a request to bring over workers from Taiwan to work the Arizona factory, arguing that they could not find skilled workers in the US. I do not know if the request was granted. I surely hope not, especially if they are receiving government grants. [/quote]

Us government messed up by not rubber stamping greencards to Tsmc workers so they can smoothly bring them here and staff the buildout in az
