He talked to Laura Ingram about this. He reportedly said something to like the choice of a vp has little to no affect on outcomes. Three out names, too, including Tulsi Gabbard (Former United States Representative.)
The list includes: 1) Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.), 2) Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, 3) Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R). 4) Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.), 5) South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R), and 6) Former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, who served in Congress as a Democrat but has since shifted to more conservative views and now is an independent.
Has anybody told Trump that his VP can’t also be from Florida?
Why?
Because according to the 12th Amendment, the President and Vice President cannot both be residents of the same state. This amendment stipulates that electors must cast distinct votes for President and Vice President, and they cannot choose both candidates from their own state. So they would have to forgo Florida’s electoral votes that Trump would presumably win.
