I don't have anything bad to say about GA.  I do agree that another league is helpful.  I don't want a monopoly.  But be real.  GA is far away from an equal league.  They are way behind.  This announcement will not help in the short term or even medium term.  top kids are 90% in ECNL.  That will continue.  [/quote]

Let me ask you a question...

Not even thinking about leagues or recruiting and you had a choice between a club that can get your kid into college. Or a club that can get your kid into college or they can play professionally. (if they're good enough) Which one would you choose?

Most people would choose the second option that allows for college or pro. This is what MLS Next provides. ENCL only provides a springboard for college.

In theory this sounds good but in reality 99.9% of players that join Nwsl are from college. Only 0.001% of players would benefit from a homegrown academy but this would require nwsl clubs to develop academies. Only 4-5 have them and most participate in ecnl. No news of nc courage pulling out of ecnl for ga. So if this big news here is that nwsl clubs should only look at ga clubs for pre-college recruiting vs taking the best players available, I have some beachfront property in Ohio to sell to you.[/quote]
