Lululemon, Aviator Nation, Ugg Slippers, Aerie, American Eagle, Nike Airmax 270's. Seems like Jordan's might be falling out of favor but I can't really tell.
These are not cool clothes. These are comfortable clothes which is important to most kids. A small group of girls might sacrifice for fashion but it’s mostly comfort - number one priority.
Omg. Enough already. It's like one poster who just can't let up on the fact Lululemon isn't cool in her eyes or isn't high fashion. We all know this!!!! But yet, in this area, most teen girls love Lululemon and therefore, it's considered a "cool" brand. It's literally that simple.
Then stop misusing the word cool. Walk down a middle school hall. It’s baggy clothes, sweats, uggs, legging. None of which are cool. More important is what is flattering on your child and is she comfortable.
And what brand of baggy clothes and sweats and leggings are cool? The girls love Lululemon. Point blank. That's what's cool to them. No one is misusing the term. You're just being stubborn.
Lululemon but forget about getting it in smaller sizes. Trying to get a size 0 in good colors for shorts is like trying to score Taylor Swift tickets.
Find a slightly older girl (or her mom) for resale/hand-me-downs. No joke. Frame it as less about the cost (though that’s a great benefit, too!) and more about how the small sizes really are hard to find. Plus, the kids grow so quickly at this age. One day she’s a size 0, the next day she’s a 4. So the other mom appreciates getting some of her money back.
