I read this somewhere too because in ep 2 the woman says his name is Travis Cohle (and that is the same last name as MM character in season 1). Also in season 1 MM says his dead father came to him (I think while he was in the the hospital) and that his father had lived in Alaska. Google it, there are a bunch of episode reviews explaining the connection but PP is correct.[/quote]
