The Woman was sick and dying She did not have the ability, money, or time to care for herself Her only option becomes abortion, or death. The baby’s death was a foregone conclusion in this scenario. The mother’s death was preventable with an abortion. Harping on the medical care she should have had isn’t helpful to the woman, once she needs the abortion. Did her doctors make the likely outcomes clear to her? Doubtful due to the laws in Texas. Sure she wanted her baby. But there is a point when that pregnancy wasn’t going to result in a healthy baby. Was she made aware of the facts? Was she able to make an informed decision? Doubtful
She had a loser husband who didn’t do a single thing to help her get the medical insurance she qualified for. She could have been treated by a high risk ob-gyn 51 miles and had her medications paid for and been in compliance with the treatment she needed. She improved and went downhill again because she was non-compliant with her medication. Why wasn’t her husband helping her?
That is irrelevant once the woman needs an abortion.
You are a doctor, you know that ethically, if woman doesn’t want an abortion, you can’t make her get an abortion. So doctor, you can’t force women to abort their babies under any circumstance. This woman did not want an abortion. She said she would rather die than abort her daughter. She was 31 weeks pregnant when she died, 31 week old babies are induced, not aborted. The left is not for women’s rights. The left is not for choice. The left is the death cult of abortion. Even when a pregnant woman does not want an abortion- they will choose it for her.
The left is not the death cult of abortion. That is dramatic nonsense. The left is pro choice.
The left fully supports a woman’s choice to abortion. The left doesn’t care 1% about women who want to treated for pregnancy complications and successfully deliver their baby. She didn’t have cancer or kidney or heart issues. She had conditions that were successfully treated with medication. When she stopped taking her medication due to their cost, she crashed and died. The only issue the left care about is she should have had had an abortion she didn’t want. Her husband could have enrolled her in Tricare and Medicaid while she was on bed rest. That could have very well saved her life and the life of their daughter. That’s what should have happened.
The left fully supports universal health insurance so that people don't have to skip treatment. They fully support not passing laws that make professional lives of ob/gyn so difficult so they want to leave a state. You don't know the situation with the insurance and should stop making stupid judgmental comments about it. Even if she had tricare or medicaid it would not have covered the salary she'd lose for being on bed rest. Why aren't you supporting universal paid sick leave in this country?
