Pretty ludicrous if Bowser thinks killing telework is going to be a big salvation for DC.  Sorry but most public servants are being paid anywhere near enough to eat out every day, when getting even a mediocre sandwich or salad and a drink, after all of the overinflated prices and sleazy surcharges will run $20.  Most people will bring a lunch instead.

Work isn't where you are, it's what you do.  Many jobs these days don't depend at all on being in a specific place, particularly office work.  Others do.  A blanket demand makes little sense.  If it's a matter of remote workers not getting their work done, that's a management problem as much as it's an employee problem.  And even there, we have a crime problem because of MPD not doing its job.[/quote]
