Suffice to say: violence against women is pervasive in ES.[/quote] Not sure how El Salvador is any worse than about half of Latin America. Violence against women is horrendous in Peru, for example. Machismo culture is pervasive in Mexico, Central and South America and the Carribean. [/quote]
