As a parent of an 05 that's already committed for college from a "feeder club" NVA just didn't appeal to us. Our club is small, has excellent technical development, a close team environment, and supportive coaches. A lot of our team got pulled up to NVA but they were already committed, so it was a little odd that they would want to go to a club that was farther get to practice. It didn't make sense for us personally so we passed. I can say its causing issues with players being dual rostered to NVA ECNL and "feeder" RL since they need to pass their guest cards back and forth. This is something that the clubs probably didn't think through when allowing this NVA to take place. It benefits the big club, but not so much the smaller ones. Call us a feeder or what not, I have full confidence that my club is positioned with their coaching staff and players that they can compete at the highest levels. Happy holidays![/quote]

So the key issue is passing a player card around? Doesn’t sound too big of an issue. Regardless some people like big clubs some like small clubs. No one is saying bigger is best for everyone. [/quote]
