FYI- we have scores posted in SIS under test history. What's weird is my kid who is much stronger in reading than math scored 11 points higher on the quant section. I wish they wouldn't use pictures for a VERBAL section; I just know they would have done better there if actual reading were involved.
This is not necessarily a bad thing. Verbal is the lowest priority score for the committee...which stinks for my kid because verbal was her best section. Quantitative is the highest score in terms of priority, but even that is only a slight bump. The major factor is going to the HOPE scale (was GBRS). For actual reading they use the DRA or whatever test they take now. That's definitely in the packet.
Does FCPS send DRA result to parents? We've never see that.
I have 3 kids in ES and the only time I've seen a reading test was when one or two teachers shared it at the parent-teacher conference. Mostly they don't chose to share it, though. If you ask for it, they will give it to you, of course.
From my child's AAP submission packet from a few years ago, they did include the DRA result. It's on a sheet with other test scores, including NNAT and Cogat.
