Winter Classic is small because teams invite only their best swimmers. Because of the no faster than entry limits, Turkey Claus isn't open to top tier swimmers. You can see the difference pretty easily by looking at the posted results. At Turkey Claus, 31.89 was fast enough to win boys 10&U 50 free but the same time was well outside of finals (top 8) at the Winter Classic.[/quote]
