And even if it was, the character is supposedly a 6'1" female high school student. Yes, that would be hard, it's an extreme deviation from the norm. I believe the average height of an adult woman is 5'4", so being 6'1" at 17 is as much of a deviation as being 4'7" tall. Trust me, no one wants to be the high school senior who is shorter than every one of the incoming freshman, either. But being 5'2" is not some massive advantage over being 5'6".
