Any celebrity who indulges a “transgender” child of theirs. How this very damaging idealogy became trendy is beyond me.
And there it is...here on DCUM transgender people have become their own version of Godwin's Law. No matter the topic, someone can't resist a chance to spew hateful words.
But so many of them have transgendered children. It’s statistically impossible. I’m thinking more narcissistic attention seeking abusive parents rather than genuinely gender confused kiddos.
How many is too many? And what do you mean by statistically impossible? There are thousands of celebrities and they are in the public eye. How about you people not pollute every.single.thread with anti-trans stuff? So tiresome.
I have never once discussed anything about transgendered people on DCUM until the one comment above. In my real life, I don’t know any children who are (but then again, I don’t know many tweens). Out of sheer curiosity, I just now looked up the Williams Institutes (UCLA ) figures on how many children between the ages of 13 and 17 identify as transgendered. (As an fyi, that’s the age group that most identifies as transgender.) It’s estimated to be 300,000 (1.4% of the total population of 13-17 year olds). The rate in California is much higher, (49,000 kids), almost up to 1.93%, but that’s still a very small percentage of the population. But off the top of my head, I can think of the following celebrities who “support” their transgendered children: 1) Megan Fox, 2) Charlize Theron, 3) J-Lo, 4) Cynthia Nixon, 5) Jamie Lee Curtis, 6) Busy Phillips, 7) Annette Bening, 8) Sigouney Weaver, let’s not forget Cher (albeit her kid is hardly a child). And that’s just from the top of my head. I’m sure there are lots more I haven’t noticed or heard about. Transgender people make up a teeny, tiny percentage of the population. And celebrities make up an even smaller percentage of the population; yet, a ton of celebrities have transgendered children! You think it’s a coincidence, but I do not.
Since it's such a teeny, tiny percentage, why do you care?
