I say yes to this. And it extends to people who believe that god/Jesus played a role in surgical outcomes, legal proceedings, finding parking spots and pretty much anything that happens in life. Note that it's usually only the positive elements of life. For some reason, god/Jesus seem to have nothing to do with the negative, which I find odd. [/quote]

omg some people thank God daily for the things they perceive to be blessings in their lives? Wth is wrong with people? Don’t they know we came from nothing, are nothing, and we will rot in the ground forgotten after [b]we die painfully[/b]?

I hope you tell them these facts, and remind them when bad things happen God not only allowed it to happen, He made it happen. He saw them eat a grape at Walmart before paying- no good parking spot for you, Wanda. God has a scorecard on everybody and keeps track. I mean, if He existed- and he definitely doesn’t exist. Not all of us will die painfully. Some of us will live long and prosperous lives. My grandmother is 89, in great health (does not even take medication daily), tatally independent. But some will die a painful death in a young age. There is correlation. [/quote]

We will all die. Most of us will die painfully. Very few people die peacefully in our sleep. We will get a bad disease, have a horrific accident, etc.

We can live long prosperous lives, but we will all die. Pray for a good death. [/quote]
