DC has several universities that attract non-DC residents.  Some of these non-DC students live beyond commuter range.  Should a student from Delaware, NJ, Mass etc not be allowed to park a car on the street if they are renting a house or apartment?  Guess what?  DC has a permit for them except for Georgetown!

Parking by students at Au law is up before the Council too.  Point is, if DC has a permit for them and they got one, then they paid to park.  If the driver of the car above is using a visitor pass they got from a resident in that zone so they would not have to obtain the proper permit from the city, then they did not pay the city to park.  That person is lying and cheating every time they park there.

No one here has explained why they think it is ethical to park for free where you are supposed to pay to park.  Just all over OP for pointing out that you are lying and cheating and you're cheap too.  If you can't defend your actions at least have the balls to own them.  Truth hurts.
