Not sports, and she claims friend is going to take a gap year, too. Could someone have already gotten an answer from UCLA if they applied as early as possible? I don’t know-we’re in VA and not considering any west coast schools[/quote]

I did post upthread that MY kid may be wrong about the school AND/OR the friend is pulling her leg. I don't know her very well - she's a fairly new friend that I only met in person for the first time a couple months ago.

My own child is applying early action almost everywhere (10 or 11 schools), most of them seem to be somewhat rolling admission and many of them don't require an application fee. Welcome to applying to school for the kids below a 3.0![/quote]
