Lighten up, will ya? OP is asking a perfectly legitimate question.  Given DCUM's obsession with USNWR and other rankings, why wouldn't there be a buzz here about a school/ that consistently ranks so high?  Yes, of course, the obvious answer is that Wellesley has a highly self-selective applicant pool, so it's completely off the radar of most DCUM posters.  If OP didn't realize this, it's possible that they didn't go to college in the US or perhaps didn't go to college at all.  BTW, I'm a Wellesley alumna and I do agree with your point about the supportiveness of the alumnae network.  Also, we're generally not mean girls, nor do we suffer them gladly.  [/quote]
