Doesn't this last bit undermine your argument, though? So on on the one hand, you have "troupers" who know the show must go on. On the other hand you have "troopers" who struggle through adversity as well. Frankly I think you've made an excellent argument for both variants being acceptable if you're trying to compliment someone for being tenacious. [/quote]
