We treat mothers like cattle sometimes and it's awful.

If this was truly unsafe, the daycare should be required to allow curbside drop off where they greet the kids at the car, or have parking lot attendants who will come retrieve your child from the car or who will watch kids in cars or help carry babies if needed. If the solution is "mom does everything" then we don't actually care about the safety and well-being of children because let me tell you, it wasn't awesome for my kids when their mom couldn't pick them up for almost a year while I rehabbed my body.[/quote]
