Ha, the last year before Covid, my son's team was playing a Stars team in the Stars league. His coach asked for a roster check and they had two non-rostered kids on the court. The Stars teams are sketchy.[/quote]

i think the issue is that if they aren't on the roster, you have no idea how old they are. you can have a huge roster in these leagues, there is no reason not to have a kid on the roster who is going to play UNLESS you are cheating. [/quote]

Guest playing happens frequently in soccer when teams experience injuries and need help filling out a roster--I agree with the other post, if they are the right age AND the team clearly needs some players to A: simply field a team or B: at least have some subs (e.g. up to 5 subs), then go for it.  I do believe of course some folks just add players to win.[/quote]

Nonsense. You have to follow the rules of the league you are playing in. The Stars league requires players to be listed on the original and official roster to play, so you can't have randoms showing up. You play in a soccer league that allows guest players, that's completely different.[/quote]
