I would be curious to hear your thoughts on academics at Walls vs. BASIS.  I have a kid heading to Walls (from BASIS) in the fall and am a bit worried the academics won't be as good/challenging (only one science class - whoa :)).  I was VERY impressed with the classes and coursework at BASIS for middle school (kid made choice to try out a new school, branch out).[/quote]
