[/quote] My older kid is in Boston, at a school that truly has no real "campus" to speak of. Compared to that, I was pleasantly surprised by VCU. It wasn't as overwhelmingly integrated into the city as I'd been expecting. And my kid didn't hate it. DD didn't like Radford at all. We liked Virginia Tech a lot more than we thought we would. Neither of us find UVA at all attractive outside of maybe the Lawn, and even that is nice but nothing special compared to other campuses we've visited (and before I get accused of bashing, I'm an alum...I have no complaints with the education, I just don't get the hype about how "beautiful" Grounds are).[/quote]
