Don't think that's the problem. When you tell a bunch of addicts that they can steal $999 worth of goods every single day without legal repercussions, well, you get grocery stores and drug stores closing because of theft and violence. This is what the people of San Francisco voted for. How they want to deal with it is up to them. As a former Bay Area resident I think the present situation is awful. San Francisco is typically a wonderful city. It's really sad what's happened over the past few years. But the only people to blame are the people of San Francisco themselves. As Obama always said, voting has consequences [/quote]
