I seriously doubt that individual had an IQ below 85. There are many kids in this country in all states who are unable to handle the required academic load. They often get into trouble of some sort or drop out. We need more vocational programs so those kids can learn the skills needed for employment. [/quote]

Well, who said anything about an IQ below 85? Clearly this person's IQ is well above 85. This thread is about a teacher writing off an entire class of kids, wholesale. [/quote]
