So is this the new way to further divide people? "Oh Im white, but you know, Mayflower white, not shouty second generation Irish or French white."
Somehow there was never any inter ethnic strife in the USA after prior mass waves of German, Irish, Italian, and eastern European immigration. Nope, this whole division is a brand new thing.
Oh please. White americans dont divide by their great-grandparents nationality. Literally no one cares.
Uhhh, yes they do.
Only in a really commercialized way. Most white people learned about their european ancestry on a trip to Epcot. I have had just too many experiences where someone says "I'm x nationality!" And you start talking to them in their supposed mother tongue and they dont actually speak it. You're just American. And I am also just American bc when I go to my supposed homeland, it is culturally different from how I was raised... as an American.
Um... no... next. Ahhhh, I get the point of this thread!! Liberals look down on America and are trying to separate themselves from being American by birth. In doing so, by not identifying as American, they can ensure they are of a superior group (as per their perception).
