Only 6 attended instead of the original 8. Interestingly, all requested separate checks at the start of the meal, and only 3 of the invitees (including me) contributed toward the GOH's meal, which came to $70 including tax. Thankfully, the GOH doesn't drink because the bill would have been a lot more.
