+1. The PP you were responding to is just sad and delusional. I live in upper NW, and am a 45 year old black man who has lived in DC my entire life besides college. I am highly concerned about crime and the direction that this city is headed, yet according to them I don’t live here and am a “right wing troll”. Just exhausting dealing with these people — really makes me feel like I have no voice. In the real world however many of my neighbors feel the same way I do about crime. [/quote]

Thank you. I have lived in DC for decades but am considering leaving due to increasing crime. It’s harder to deal with as you get older. Even in upper NW, which is still much safer than many other areas of the city, muggings are increasing along upper Connecticut and Wisconsin avenues [/quote]
