You didn't answer the question (which was coming from a genuine place of trying to understand the anti-travel-post sentiment) and also simmer down.  I'm not judging anything.  If it wasn't evident from my post, I'm someone who likes social media.  I happen to love travel, so those are some of my favorite posts.

My point is that unless you are anti-social media in general, why be anti-travel pics in particular (assuming safety concerns are met by posting once home).  The "false narrative" issue is less of a problem with travel pics bc every reasonable knows your vacation is not indicative of your real life.  Do you find travel pics boring?[/quote]
