This whole thread is nuts. I usually post a small number of pictures when we're back home. I like seeing friends' travel pics. Sometimes they give me ideas of where I'd like to go. Sometimes I just like seeing pictures of different places. Nothing deeper than that!
I agree. Sometimes I post a few pics when I return; sometimes I don’t. I am not super active on social media anyways, I just have Facebook and I post maybe once every 2 months with a picture of something our family did/ is doing. When I scroll Fb I actually enjoy seeing travel pictures of places I’ve never been, if that person traveled with their kids- I get ideas for where we might want to go in the future! Now if someone posts 65 pictures of their trip to the OBX I’m not interested because I’ve been there many times with my kids and have nothing new to learn about that destination. Maybe that’s where the weird “I laugh at you behind your back when you post pictures of your amalfi coast vacation “ is coming from- to her, that is a routine Vacation and she has been there multiple times and is therefore not interested. But hey if you went to the Amalfi coast with your elementary aged kids I’d LOVE to see your pics on Facebook to see how it went and what you did! Because I’d like to take my kids sometime maybe!
