I'm not the poster that you're referring to but I'll criticize you because this is ignorant crap perpetuated by people who don't understand science and basic math. The crap you are blathering on about is often used to manipulate people who are grieving. You don't know anything but about spirits but you've made up a lot of ridiculousness and it makes you feel powerful. It's all about you. [/quote]

I am a different poster, but I have connected with loved ones in spirit.  I am not a medium, but have learned how to connect after starting  meditation.  There is a HEAVY manipulative practice that unfortunately runs rampant in the spiritual community, but there are definitely legitimate psychics and mediums out there.  In fact, we are ALL psychic...even those who claim it to be BS.  It's that feeling you get when you answer the phone and know who it is before they begin speaking.  It's running into an old friend who you haven't seen in years, but they popped into your mind shortly before that.  Psychics can quiet their minds enough to tune into that "energy".  Have you ever seen what Tibetan Monks can do?!

It's completely understandable that you get upset by the con artists, as well you should.  However, it is real.  I have connected and the few times I did it, I had information about the deceased loved one that there was no way for me to get without me actually connecting to them.
