I think it’s unrelated to the Honors program and just an incentive to attend Pitt. Our DC was also given merit aid for the grad program, but has heard nothing on merit for undergrad (which makes me nervous).

The automatic admissions to graduate programs is based on test scores and grades. Each program is different and has different thresholds — you can look at them on Pitt website. Honors college is different and comes out in the spring. Merit aid is different from both. I don’t think they tell you about merit aid for grad school when then give the automatic admission.[/quote]
