They go on racist tirades alllllllll the time as they slip further and further into dementia.  Heck, my aunt was never a racist in her life, yet at the peak of her dementia just before dying she shouted all sorts of horrific racist stuff to her African home aide.  The home aide brushed it off, because it happened to her all the time when working with dementia.

The only thing I get out of this whole story is that this is yet another terrible reason why allowing open hard drug use is a terrible idea.  People fry their brains out, get demented, and look what happens.  Bay Area being Bay Area. What'd you expect?  Maybe condoning the use of acid, meth, heroin, etc. etc. is not such a good idea after all? Gee, who knew?
