I agree with 10:16. I think Cole and Bartisse have two completely different reactions, and Col's was more acceptable. Zanab is incredibly passive aggressive. it's her defense mechanism, and Cole doesn't know how to deal with it. It has come between them, and she circles back to the Colleen thing because that's her insecurity Is Colleen even that attractive? Bleh. Matt is an immature dick. Explosive and aggressive. I keep forgetting about them as a couple because there is no depth there. I started to worry when I saw Alexa's family and thought their backgrounds were just too different, but I'm still rooting for her and Brennon. My husband and I come.from very different backgrounds both socio-economically and culturally, and we're surprisingly compatible. I peeked at her insta and she does indeed seem really materialistic, not in a negative way, but I wonder if her need for affluence might override her feelings for Brennon. SK and Raven-- I do appreciate how Raven totally shut Bartisse down in the first of today's released episodes. I wasn't liking her after the initial episode release but warned up to her today. I still don't think she and SK are a match, but I think they're both trying to make it work. It won't. He should get with her friend Aaliyah, who said that Raven will break his heart. She knew he was the vulnerable one in this match. Nancy and Bartisse. Nancy is out of his league. I was impressed with her real estate portfolio, and her willingness to be so open with him about it. Bartisse is still such a child, and the whole abortion discussion was off-putting, and in no way a discussion necessary to have with his family. She can do and deserves better than him.
I disagree. In the first new episode (in the pool) Cole was talking shit about Zanab every chance he got. I think SK and Raven are the only ones not visibly drunk all the time.
10:16 here. I think Cole was surprised by the problems he and Zay were having. He was talking about problems he was having with her, talking through his concerns. And kind of compulsively talking about them to everyone he talked to. His observations about Colleen were happening at the same time, but it is honestly pretty clear that his MIND is on Zay, they are just having a lot of issues. Bartisse talked about Raven. He talked about Raven and SK. He fixated onto Raven and became preoccupied thinking about her. His MIND is on Raven. He and Nancy are fine, and he isn't talking about Nancy to anyone. He's talking about Raven. To me these are two very different reactions. Cole is clearly by nature a talker, someone who can't help himself from speaking what he's thinking, for better or worse, but again, he's talking about Zay mostly. Except when Zay is asking about Colleen. I think you have two couples, one came out of the pods with ease and bubbliness and one came out of the pods and encountered some real compatibility issues. The happy couple has a person in it who starts obsessing about a hot outside party. The struggling couple has a person that observes a hot outside party, but is obsessing about the compatibility issues. I dunno, to me Cole is much better than Bartise. I think Cole clearly loves her, and I think the biggest sign there is the issues with his family. He is clearly struggling with the wedge with his family and how they are weaponizing faith against him. And if he didn't care about Zay, it would be much easier to walk away then to have this like, almost faith crisis as a consequence of staying with her. Anyway, I think they are apples and oranges, all they have in common is thinking the girl they rejected is hotter than the girl they chose. But attractiveness is not compatibility, and only one of those guys seems to see the difference.
