The speech I listened to centered on the intrinsic value of human life. She asserted that being prochoice isnt about being pro abortion. A true choice would be between motherhood with financial support from the state, and abortion. And yet we only make one choice viable, and that is abortion, in spite of the fact that the birth rate is untenably low. She proposes state welfare for moms who need it.

Although she is a single mom, who had a child out of wedlock (she explains), she supports the family as the fundamental unit of society.  She says these identity matters-- mother, wife, Italian, woman-- should be respected and valued instead of erased with Parent 1, EU member, Gender X, etc.
