My ancestor being a shitty husband while living under the Ottoman rule is much different than someone's great-grandpa killing thousands of Jews and being happy to kill or infect thousands of Native Americans. Western World is guilty of the worst atrocities ever committed, yet they bestowed upon themselves the self-given title of "civilized!"[/quote]
