Still wondering why so many people view lack of actual government experiences as a plus. Also wondering why so few Blair supporters on this site support their positions with actual specifics.  I guess my takeaway should be to recognize how limited using a site like this can be when it comes to getting detailed information on even prominent local candidates.  I’m planning to vote for Elrich — unless I can get information that goes beyond the level of the stuff that gets put on campaign flyers for Blair.

Perhaps it isn’t experience in county politics, but I am confident his proven skills translate easily from the business world to the county exec position. I want a person who can put good people in place and then support those people as they perform their jobs. Blair’s experience in the business world proves to me that he can do that. [/quote]
