I will add, a creepy dude who now lurks in covid threads like an eager puppy, begging to be kicked again.

Or as I call him, having no actual idea of his gender, location, or even if he's a parent at all, "Kensington Dad." Going from his posts, his defensiveness, his stubborn insistence that he's a clever troll, or a righteous crusader, or just an all around average Joe... That seemed to fit. I suspect he's divorced with partial or no custody because he also seems to hate women and has an axe to grind. I picked Kensington because it's whiter than SS and not as rich as Bethesda. He seems to have many chips on his shoulder.

Now, none of that has anything to do with covid. And I don't care if I'm right

Regarding COVID and our kids catching it: as I've said many many many many times before, this is not a zero sum game, where some people "win" by having covid or by not having it. It is, however, logical practice to avoid spreading diseases. Masking is a simple way to do this. Not masking is a simple way to spread an airborne illness.

Anyone, in this brave new year of 2022 who cannot comprehend why bragging about sending their infectious kids to school makes them look like a pathetic, attention-seeking sociopath, is only worthy of mockery, not genuine engagement.

Parts of Kensington are just as rich or richer than Bethesda.  People just aren't as showy.  Even in the less "wealthy" areas of Kensington, most families are doing equal to Bethesda families but just choose to spend their money differently.
