In defense of NoVa…. Northern Virginia OVERWHELMINGLY did not vote for Youngkin. And the more dems we get to move to NoVa from DC, the more likely we can fully turn Virginia blue. So any Democrats considering moving to NoVa but turned off by our horrifying governor should know that a) they would not be surrounded by conservatives and b) they’d be doing a “good deed” for the Democratic Party by moving here and voting Democratic!!!
If you are horrified by Yougkin, why don't you move to DC? In fact, why did you move to Virginia in the first place?
This is easy to answer: Much more space. Much better schools. Much less crime. Many more family amenities and family-oriented neighborhoods. And knowing that while Youngkin may be disliked by a large percentage of voters, Virginia remains a politically pragmatic place and in all likelihood will vote a Democrat back into office in 2025.
So, a democratic controlled city has less space, worse schools, more crime, fewer amenities and family-oriented neighborhoods, but you want a Democrat to be elected governor of Virginia.
