Even the African American Gator football players use the cheer. The African American football players did not agree with the ban. No one, black or white, was aware that it was racist. Yes. by the way, cracker is a derogatory term for poor whites. Blacks were never fed to alligators as "gator bait." The origin of the racism comes from postcards from over 100 years ago that pictured black infants on beaches with alligators. [/quote]
