I think the 2 years cutoff is pretty terrible for multiple reasons- from a developmental perspective, it's unreasonable to expect a toddler who may well still be in diapers (!!) to suddenly wear a face covering for hours at a time. And the messaging is such that it's considered unsafe to put them on kids under 2, so its no wonder that a new 2yo is going to struggle. Most childcares understand this- they recognize there will be a transition period and don't expect perfect compliance the day the child turns 2. But then you have posters like this who regard an unmasked 25 mo as a threat to your health and well being.[/quote]
