This wasn’t always the case, but with the current deep divide between progressive prosecutors and those that are seen as law and order types it absolutely does. If a progressive is taking over they want to bring in a bunch of former public defenders to effectuate change from the inside, if a law and order type is taking over they want to bring in career prosecutors.[/quote]
