I don't know WHY the progressives are so against limits - all 330 million Americans didn't need $1,200 checks and every parent in existence also didn't need $300/month per kid - to the point they were insisting (and still are) undocumented immigrants get the child tax credits and stimulus payments as well. Well that blew up in their faces. Biden should have known better.[/quote]

+1 except to the fact that there was at least some means testing--no stimmy checks for us, no CTC, no handouts, just higher prices, and soon higher taxes (despite earning under 400K).  Shocker, giving out lots of no strings attached money to most people at the same time there is a supply crunch causes gross amounts of inflation.  I don't regret voting for Biden because the alternative was Trump putting us on constant brink of WW3 (and I am a military spouse).  But I hate this.[/quote]
