Work out, eat well, look your best all the time. Don’t ever look frumpy when you are out. You never know who you will meet. You probably don’t look much different at 31 from 27 or 28. I would meet new people and go out all the time. My friend got divorced at 35 and remarried at 39. She hung out with new youbger friends who went out all the time. They had tons of guys around all the time. All my friend’s previous friends were settle down, married with kids.
Great advice.
Latina and Slavic women are born knowing this. Northwest euro women and Jewish women are oblivious to this. Frump is not cute
BS, there are a lot of men who prefer a woman who can be hot while wearing sweats and a baseball cap to a woman who takes hours to apply her face before facing the public. If you want to play regional stereotypes, southern women who can be attractive at a tailgate and then dress for a dinner out split the difference between you examples.
Completely agree. I am a woman who puts on a full face before she goes out. I enjoy looking glamorous and dresss accordingly, and I know for sure there are plenty of guys who dont like it as much and prefer women who "dress down". Think of Kate Middleton. I dont really care because I genuinely dress for myself (and maybe to impress other women, lol) so I am still going to wear my designer clothes/purses. But I actually think a lot of men like women who are very sparing with makeup and clothes. There's also a lot of men who get intimidated by women who look super glam. My point is, it's a fiction that women who dress up suddenly pull in all the men. I think it's really the luck of the draw.
There is a HUGE area between a full face of makeup, looking glamorous, and frump. Kate Middleton is never ever frump. Men generally don’t like frump and the frumpy disheveled look that you might have been cute as a 19 yr old college co-Ed, isn’t cute at 30+ I would say UMC don’t usually go for the full makeup, glam look- for serious girlfriend material. They prefer the clean face, “no makeup” makeup look. Nice causal clothes, think well fit jeans and a cashmere sweater. Don’t go around in a messy top knot, leggings, and a hoodie, and eyelash extensions.
That's the thing, men go for different looks. I get a ton of attention from men, I'm not lacking in it. Also the culture of DC and what men from DC find attractive is different than in other high earning cities like Los Angeles, Dallas, New York, Boston, Chicago, London, Dubai, etc. I love my look and get a ton of positive attention so i will continue my full face of makeup. But my point is that plenty of men DO like dishevelled women and I see dishevelled looking women dating men all the time. Some men love that. There's a lid for every pot. Do what you like and the men will come.
