Normal people are not offended by that.  ([b]I do think it's silly to paint all American and Northern European food as "bland," given the huge variety of food included in those two categories.[/b])  Just like I'd hope that non-white people aren't offended by white people putting their own take on foods from around the world, "authentic" or not.[/quote]
