Good news! Wootton is getting a facelift! It's right there in the CIP! Not to mention that the Board of Education held public hearings on the new CIP last night; did you testify?

Thomas S. Wootton High School Capital  Project:  A  major  capital  project  is  planned for this school to address various building systems and programmatic needs for this school. Expenditures for this project are included in the Major Capital Projects–Secondary. Although the Board of Education requested a completion date of August 2026, the County Council delayed the expenditures  and  completion  date  by  one  year  to August 2027. An FY 2023 appropriation is recommended to accelerate the architectural design and site funds within the Major Capital Project to address ADA and site related issues.[/quote]
