I neither love it or hate it but I can tell you this. I work at the World Bank, the province of highly educated, worldly, well traveled middleaged women. A full third to half of them carries Neverfulls and you know why? It's one bag that you can reliably stuff with your passport, laptop, documents to read in flight, makeup and a scarf; you can dump it on the airport or lounge floor, you can shove it around your seat, you can drag it to a thousand missions, and you'd STILL need a blowtorch to take it apart.
Yep. Basic Black Girl here. I don't own a NF because I already own a YSL shopping tote. My sisters own the NF and it swallows that bag up. We take them everywhere. As far as LV durability, in general these bags have a lot of tensile strength. I will never forget Ice Cube in "Three Kings" telling Mark Walberg and George Clooney the best way to carry all that gold bullion out of Iraq was with a bag that has "tesilary strength". He knew that much from his full time airport job as a baggage handler in Detroit. He knew the bags to do that with were LV. It's just tensile strength. You can carry other things besides gold bars for those of you who are also basic. Got my own war stories and can't watch it anymore. Did come home with a greater appreciation for the durability of some designer goods. Stopped wearing cheap shoes that messed up my feet. No judgement. Buy the bag, but maybe go into an LV boutique to learn and look at other style LV bags. I wanted a Tag Heuer until I got enough money saved up and learned I really wanted a Rolex. It's done me well over the past 20 years.
