By not testing they can ignore the majority of cases that are asymptomatic in children and pretend everything is just fine.

Pretending everything is fine is my plan because the long term complications you speak of are rare (minuscule perhaps) for vaccinated healthy kids and their families and teachers. The long term complications of year 3 of disrupted school not so much. But, mcps knew you would exist and created virtual academy for you so please go do that. You will never convince me to worry and I will never convince you not to worry so we can each go to our respective camps with the solutions mcps has provided for 2021/2022. [/quote]

The beauty of MCPS is that there are both virtual and in person options available.  You choose what works best for your family and I’ll choose what’s best for mine.  Deal?

While very sad, what that case drives home more than anything is the importance of parents getting vaccinated!!  Hopefully some unvax parents will see this and change their minds.[/quote]
